My Reaction of Allegiant (Veronica Roth)

I just finished reading Allegiant (Veronica Roth) this morning. I spent three weeks reading it, although it is thinner than the previous books (which I wondered about, since it's the end of the sequel). I spent nine days reading the first book and three days for the second one. Well, it's Ramadhan now, I don't wanna spend my time for reading the whole day.

So, my impression about this climax of the sequel is... it's so heart-breakin! How could Veronica-sensei... The ending made me frustrated so bad. I have expected the ending will be heart-breakin like Mockingjay was since the first book has more terror (for me), but I've never expected it would turn out like this.... Well, it's anti-mainstream, though, but still -_-"

If the Divergent is like "one choice will determine your future life style", "faction before blood", "trying alive in this insane faction", "entering the enemy's lair", and the Insurgent is like "endless-like bicker", "lying each other", "guilt", and "betrayal", Allegiant is like "strange new world", "everything you have known was a lie", "these important serums", and "everybody lost their loved ones". Honestly, I like the first book--Divergent--the most 'cause it's so teen-life and Insurgent least. In Insurgent, Tris and Tobias fought a lot that I could squeeze their neck. My favorite characters are Tobias for boys (of course, duh!) and Cara for girls instead of the heroine, Tris. I don't like Cara at her first turn up, but by the time, she actually is a person I adore. She is smart and clever (well of course, since she's from Erudite), brave, honest, caring, and forgiving.

my Divergent Trilogy

Like Mockingjay, Allegiant has a closing paragraph that has a big impression for me that it marked my mind (well you could roll your eyes if you want). It's the last paragraph of the epilogue:

"Since I was young, I have always known this: Life damages us, everyone. We can't escape that damage. But now, I am also learning this: We can be mended. We mend each other." -Tobias Eaton (Four)

Well, that's my review about this trilogy, especially Allegiant. I evaluated this just from my point of view, though, so no bash!
